I've been trying to h/h this stupid mission using the various guides for a few days with no success. Despite having henched my way all through Nightfall & Factions, this has me utterly stumped. I gave up and tried with a pug tonight who frankly were less than useless.

This is the last mission I need to get Masters on to be Protector and it's driving me bonkers. No mission in the whole of Factions & Nightfall has caused me so many flipping headaches!

Can anyone help me?

I'm a sin, but am really wishing I wasn't.

What i did is get 3 E/D invici mindblast eles and flag them in each entrance, so the luxons will attack those and not tree singers, then just run back and forth killing the siege turtles and the luxons when your eles get overwhelmed.

What heroes do you have?

Use MM's and/or Spirit Summoners to hold the gates. Either put some restos/heals/prots on the MM/Spirit bars or include a hero healer with them.

What class are you? Depending on what you are, take the remaining heroes with you to take out siege turtles and help gates that are hurting.

EDIT: Just read you're a sin. Make a knocklock build to spam KD's and high crits to eliminate the turtles easily. Sin is actually pretty good at this.

Well, after my moaning earlier I thought I'd give it another shot with a pug. Found a mo/me wanting to join up so it was him with 2 more monk heroes (inc. a smiter) and a derv, and me with Olias & MOW set as Discord mm and Duncoro set with spammable heals.

And didn't we just only flipping well go and get Masters! Woo hoo! Look at me, all Protector-y!

I had to go and resurrect him a coupla times but only having to really watch one side made sooo much difference.

Thanks for your assistance guys. Although ultimately not needed, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate you helping out a newbie who rudely comes on and begs for help with her first post.

it is indeed hard to do with just h/h...now having 7 heroes does help.....I did it with 2 sos and 2 mm along with a monk and an ele (and dont remember the last one)...I was a mesmer......I put up the spirits on each side with an mm...and a mobile monk (kept more in the middle so he could heal either side). and knowing which side the bosses show up on had the extra jug on that side (warrior boss on the left, the rit and sin last on the right)...and a LOT of running back and forth....but it is do-able.

i have done it in hardmode, with 2 dervishes and a double discort team, master reward,

you need to split the discort and both teams need to take a side,

the luxon's won't be any problem if you play right
when the afflicted come you need to watch out, sometimes you need to send some men to the other side becouse there are bosses there
